Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City are still two of the best, most influential action games in modern history, although they are starting to show their age in some ways. That’s natural, but still, it can be a little hard to go back to the 7-year-old Arkham Asylum after playing the ultra-detailed Arkham Knight.
Well, according to a new leak, Warner Brothers has been secretly tuning up the first two Arkham games for a new generation. Eurogamer were recently sent this screenshot of a new listing in GameStop’s system…
Batman Arkham HD Collection leaked. Will include first two games remastered, plus all DLC. https://t.co/BNyLwbfCJW pic.twitter.com/LneCaxqWxK

As you can see, it looks like Batman Arkham HD Collection may be on the way, if rumor holds true. The collection appears to feature both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, all the DLC for both games, and updated current-gen visuals. The collection won’t include Batman: Arkham Origins, which should disappoint approximately no one.
While it’s true the whole remastering thing has been done to death, these two games are those that deserve another lease on life. I’m particularly interested to play Arkham Asylum with improved visuals and tightened-up modern controls. I have great memories of Arkham Asylum, but sometimes those memories don’t match the current reality.
According to the leaked GameStop listing, Batman Arkham HD Collection will be open for pre-orders tomorrow, and released on June 10.
