Needless to say, there’s going to be a big spoiler about X-Men: Days Of Future Past below, so if you just want to see the new pictures, skip past the text. Someone claiming to be involved in the production tried to sell the script to Radar Online. Radar didn’t buy it, but they did share a couple of details about the purported X-Men: Days Of Future Past script: what happens on the first page and a pivotal character death later in the script.
Leading some credence to the story is the fact that 20th Century Fox has sent takedown requests to sites posting direct excerpts, including Think McFly Think, CBM, and Hypable. In light of that, we won’t be posting an excerpt, but we will summarize what the excerpts contained.
The biggest spoiler is the death of one of the characters. Skip past this if you don’t want to know Colossus dies fighting a Sentinel. What? We said “skip past this”. Whatever, they’ll probably retcon him back to life with Wolverine’s Kitty-Pryde-assisted time travel and this is the nerdiest sentence I’ve ever typed.
Radar also describes the opening scene, in which BooBoo Stewart and Fan Bingbing — those are their real names, and Brian Benben feels left out — are in a bombed-out future Moscow. BooBoo Stewart plays Warpath and Fan Bingbing plays Blink. They teleport to a bomb shelter full of mutant refugees.
We also have some new pictures from X-Men: Days Of Future Past, including our first look at Evan Peters as Magneto’s son, Quicksilver. We then get a better look at Omar Sy as Bishop and see Beast fighting Magneto in a public fountain (NO BLUES ALLOWED, BEAST!). And the last picture is Jennifer Lawrence choking out a guy. There are worse ways to go. Being drowned in one foot of water by a hairy smurf-man, for example.
X-Men: Days Of Future Past opens May 23rd, 2014.
