Sing us a song!
Disney just dropped the first trailer for its big screen adaptation of Into The Woods. The film, which is a theatrical take on the beloved Broadway musical, is touting some big stars including Meryl Streep as The Witch, Anna Kendrick as Cinderella, and Chris Pine as Cinderella’s Prince. The movie follows characters from Grimm’s fairytales as they go on a interconnecting journey into the woods in order to have their wishes come true.
In the first teaser we get plenty of magic, lavish costumes, a giant beanstalk, Pine playing the part of a dashing, well-coiffed royal, a glimpse of Johnny Depp’s wolfish self, and Streep in full witch b*tch mode but sadly, none of the a-listers had a chance to show off their singing chops. The film is set to hit theaters Dec. 25th.
