So, Capcom and Dontnot Entertainment’s Remember Me has rapidly climbed to near the top of my “Yes, I Wants This” list. Around a month ago we brought you the first trailer and seven minutes of gameplay footage detailing the game’s unique mind rape er, I mean “memory remix” mechanics.
But what about combat? A game cannot stand on brain tampering alone. Thankfully a new video detailing the combat in Remember Me has just been released. Hit the jump to check it out…
Looks promising, although I’m sure I’m going to be absolutely terrible at creating combos (I was very relieved when they mentioned “auto-fill” at the end).
Ultimately it’s going to come down to variety — if the developers can come up with a good range of different enemies, the game’s combat should be fairly satisfying. If we’ve already seen most of the enemies the game is going to offer in a single six-minute video, the combat in Remember Me will get old fast.
