Star Wars: The Force Awakens may have crushed it at the box office, but it hasn’t made much of a mark in the realm of video games. Sure, there was that one The Force Awakens map in Star Wars Battlefront and a couple of pretty cool pinball tables, but Star Wars fanatics demand more, dammit!
Well, the first full The Force Awakens game was unveiled this morning, and yes, it’s a LEGO title. LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens will cover all the big events from the movie, and even feature a few levels that bridge the gap between Episode VI and VII. You’ll of course be able to play as all the important characters from the movie – Rey, Finn, Poe, Kylo Ren, Han Solo and BB-8. That’s right, folks, you can play as BB-8. This game is going to make everybody involved a whole lotta money.
A short, 30-second trailer for LEGO The Force Awakens leaked last night, but Warner Bros. Interactive has since released a full, two-minute trailer packed full of wackiness and gags. You can check it out at the top of this post.
LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens releases June 28 on pretty much anything that plays video games.
