X-Men: Apocalypse is the last movie currently in the contracts for Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, and Nicholas Hoult, and Hugh Jackman has said he’s done playing Wolverine after Wolverine 3. But Fox wants to keep this gravy train chugging along, including a new spin-off and possibly a Fantastic Four crossover directed by Bryan Singer. The actors don’t seem to be in a hurry to walk away, either, with Jennifer Lawrence saying “there is hope” for another contract to be offered, while Michael Fassbender has said he would “shoot a hundred” X-Men movies.
Heroic Hollywood has now claimed that Fassbender and McAvoy have inked deals to return for more X-Men movies. Movies, plural. They also say the studio is trying to set up new contracts with Lawrence and Hoult, as well. Heroic Hollywood isn’t optimistic about Lawrence taking the deal. She’s already made it clear she doesn’t enjoy huffing paint fumes, which is where her and I will have to agree to disagree.
It’s all just a rumor at this point and may not pan out. In the meantime, we can enjoy this new picture Bryan Singer posted of Alexandra Shipp as Storm.
