Getting in formation can apparently have some steep consequences — just ask Chyna Johnson. The 22-year-old student from Houston claims she’s being evicted after deciding to spend her rent money on tickets to see Beyonce.
Johnson revealed her Bey-centric priorities to the world on May 8 and her story has blown up from there. Her original tweet about the situation has been retweeted thousands of times with users across the world supporting or mocking her decision.

Johnson refuted the idea that she made the story up for attention both on Twitter and in an interview with BuzzFeed.
“It is real. I got an eviction letter and everything,β she said, adding that she feels she made the correct decision.
βMy priorities are definitely in check to be honest,β she said. βI had the time of my life. Literally.β
Her tweets seem to back this up.
I WAS WILD!!!!! It was so good. Omg that concert was perfect. She has so many good songs I can't even https://t.co/3uQVv5UDVO

And plenty of Twitter users stepped in to give advice and amplify the story in the hopes that at least one former member of Destiny’s Child would help Johnson out.

Overall, Johnson believes things will work out. She’s attempting to get an extension from her landlord so that she can continue living in her apartment.
“Iβve never ever been late on rent before so Iβm hoping she would have some mercy on me,β she said.
