Travis Scott's merch is the worst I've ever seen. This is just one example. Isn't he supposed to be next level? pic.twitter.com/IMbSfsaPEE

It’s fair to say that Travi$ Scott‘s new album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight is getting better reviews than its associated merch. The new album from the “Pick Up the Phone” rapper gives credit right in the title, which is something he forgot to do when he attempted to sell a $13 bird plushie for 50 bucks.
As you can see in the side-by-side up top, Travis’ team didn’t even properly cut the bird out of its original image. There’s white splotches all around its wings that point to this being a hasty MS Paint job. It’s not a good look for someone who already faces plenty of criticism about his originality or lack thereof. And it’s fair to say that Twitter haters noticed. In addition, to the bird slip-up, people razzed the quality of the hoodies, shirts and condoms that Travis is hawking.

I’m not trying to pick sides, but I didn’t hear any quality complaints when Chance released those plain-as-hell t-shirts. Not saying, just saying.
One particularly dedicated tweeter even created an account for the obscenely marked-up stuffed animal.

Perhaps the most insane thing about #Birdghazi is the lead time. Even though literally no work is going into the plushie on Travis’ side of things, there’s still an 8-10 week wait for this bird. Maybe once it arrives in your mailbox, we’ll see if there’s any difference at all from the original. It’s still for sale, if you feel the need to prove your fandom.
