2015 is a big year for “Back to the Future.” The beloved film celebrates 30 years (a “nice round number”) since its release, and October 21, 2015 marks the date that Doc and Marty travel to in “Back to the Future Part II.” Great Scott, this is heavy! Six days from now, we were supposed to have hoverboards, power laces and flying cars. Unfortunately, the world of “Back to the Future Part II” is behind schedule.
“Part II” predicted some things about the future correctly (playing video games without hands, for example), while other elements were rather off-track (phone booths and newspapers aren”t quite as prominent today as they were in the 1989 movie).

The infographic delves into some of the “Part II” tech that”s “now available,” “in the pipeline” and “a long way off.”
Yep, where we”re going we”ll still need roads, cause flying cars are still in that latter category.
