Two recent soundtracks made big waves for pop music lovers this spring, but are they good enough to be among the all-time greatest?
The ” Furious 7″ soundtrack hit No. 1 on the albums chart when was released in March, and yielded what may be among the Summer Songs of 2015: Wiz Khalifa's “See You Again,” a Paul Walker tribute.
“Pitch Perfect 2” hit the a-caperfect notes with fans of the first film, and its soundtrack similarly bowed at the top of the Billboard 200 late this month, giving the Barden Bellas another chance to enchant crowds (and composer/musician Mark Mothersbaugh another prime spot to show off his chops).
These flicks are up against pretty fierce competition if they ever hope to be considered one of the best soundtracks of all time, however. Check out our most up-to-date list of the best collections.
