Have no idea what to expect in “Arrested Development” Season 4? Neither does series star Tony Hale.
“[Creator] Mitch [Hurwitz] has just got this massive puzzle in his head, a comic matrix that I’m very eager to see how it plays out,” said Hale (who plays youngest Bluth sibling Buster) at the new season’s red-carpet premiere. “Because I have no clue what’s going on.”
As for getting back into character, Hale said it wasn’t that hard once he heard co-star Jessica Walter speak in the voice of family matriarch Lucille, who keeps Buster in the palm of her hand thanks to her domineering personality.
“It was like a time warp being all together again. It was exciting, but nerve-wracking too, because after seven years there’s a lot of expectation,” said Hale of taking on the new season. “But once I heard…Lucille’s, my mother’s voice, like abusive voice towards Buster, it just clicked right in. It was like riding a bike.”
