Remember how this season’s “Big Brother” episodes were going to air on Sundays and Tuesdays with live eviction shows on Wednesdays in a minor scheduling change?
Nevermind.
After two episodes than came in slightly below their corresponding premieres last summer, CBS has swapped “Big Brother” back to its regular Sunday and Wednesday airings with a Thursday live eviction.
The change was made because… oh, whatever.
Naturally, nothing is going into effect immediately, because that would have the season’s first live eviction airing on July 4. Instead, episodes will air as planned tonight (July 2), with the first ousted hamster going home on Wednesday.
Then, starting next week, “Big Brother” will air on Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. and Thursday nights at 9 p.m.
The shift will allow CBS to get its Tuesday night lineup — “NCIS,” “NCIS: Los Angeles” and “Person of Interest” — entrenched starting next week.
Try not to get too worked up.
