Gwyneth Paltrow doesn’t believe we’ll be seeing Pepper Potts in “The Avengers: Age of Ultron.” In fact, she didn’t even know it was called “Age of Ultron.”
“What is it called?” Paltrow asked me during our chat about the forthcoming sex-addiction dramedy “Thanks for Sharing,” in which she stars opposite Mark “The Hulk” Ruffalo. “‘Age of Ultron,’ okay. Well, no, I don’t think [I’ll be in it]. I haven’t heard any…my phone has not rung for ‘Avengers 2.'”
One other tidbit to note from our “Avengers”-related discussion is that my nerd credentials are painfully slight, as illustrated when I mistakenly referred to Pepper’s alter-ego as “Rocket” instead of “Rescue.”
“That would be fun,” said Paltrow when I broached the topic of a hypothetical Rescue solo movie. “[But] I thought Rescue was her name.”
Forehead slap!

“The Avengers: Age of Ultron” is slated for release on May 1, 2015.
