James Bond is jumping back into action just in time for the holidays.
“Bond 24” is slated to begin filming on December 6, less than a year before its planned U.S. release date of November 6, 2015 (October 23 in the U.K.). The latest entry in the long-running franchise will see “Skyfall” director Sam Mendes returning behind the camera, with stars Daniel Craig (in his fourth outing as 007), Ralph Fiennes (M), Naomie Harris (Eve Moneypenny), Rory Kinnear (Bill Tanner) and Ben Whishaw (Q) also set to reprise their roles.
Casting for a new crop of villains and Bond Girls is currently underway, with the latter category reportedly set to include a minor role for a Scandinavian actress and a lead role for a British actress. Locations will include Austria (standing in for Norway), Rome (where a car chase will allegedly be filmed) and possibly Morocco, while Pinewood Studios in England will once again serve as home base for non-location filming.
