The first performers for the 2015 Grammy Awards ceremony have been announced.
Eric Church, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Madonna and AC/DC will all be hitting the stage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Feb. 8.
Of those announced, three are up for awards. Eric Church has four noms including best Country Album; Grande is up for two including Best Pop Album; and Sheeran is in the running for three including vaunted Album Of The Year.
Madonna — as you'll remember — crashed the Grammys last year, too, to help preside over the gay wedding sequence of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' “Same Love” performance with HitFix fave vocalist Mary Lambert. She is releasing album “Rebel Heart” this winter.
AC/DC was among the “huh, what?” contingency of the recently announced Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival lineup. There is some conjecture that their resurgence at major fests and now the Grammys equals a “farewell” announcement.
