Fast National ratings for Monday, June 8, 2015.
Monday's “The Whispers” news was all about the big DVR bump for the premiere, while Tuesday's “The Whispers” news is all about the 33 percent live key demo dip for the summer drama, which allowed “American Ninja Warrior”-led NBC to rule primetime in all measures.
The night also saw dips for “The Bachelorette” and “So You Think You Can Dance.”

Among adults 18-49, NBC averaged a 1.7 rating for Monday night, edging out ABC's 1.5 rating in the key demographic. FOX was third with a 1.1 key demo rating, followed by CBS' 0.9 key demo rating. The CW trailed with a 0.2 key demo rating for the night.
Overall, NBC averaged an estimated 5.8 million viewers and a 3.3 rating/6 share for Tuesday night, while ABC averaged 5.64 million viewers despite a 3.9/7 for primetime. CBS was a close third with 5.11 million viewers and a 3.4/6, followed by FOX's 2.3/4 and 3.67 million viewers. The CW averaged a 0.4/1 and 567,000 viewers.
8 p.m. – NBC's “American Ninja Warrior” and ABC's “The Bachelorette” both averaged a 1.8 rating among adults 18-49, with NBC's competition series averaging 6.51 million viewers to top the 6.38 million viewers for ABC's series. CBS' repeats of “2 Broke Girls” and “Mike & Molly” averaged 5.07 million viewers and a 1.0 key demo rating, compared to the 3.62 million viewers and 1.1 key demo rating for FOX's “So You Think You Can Dance.” The CW's repeat of “The Originals” averaged 654,000 viewers and a 0.2 key demo rating.
9 p.m. – “American Ninja Warrior” rose to 7.15 million viewers and a 2.2 rating among adults 18-49 for NBC in the 9 p.m. hour, opening up a solid lead over the 6.19 million viewers and 1.7 key demo rating for ABC's “The Bachelorette.” CBS' repeat of “Scorpion” averaged 4.8 million viewers and a 0.8 key demo rating, topping the 3.725 million viewers and 1.1 key demo rating for FOX's “So You Think You Can Dance.” The CW's “Jane the Virgin” repeat averaged 480,000 viewers and a 0.1 key demo rating.
10 p.m. – CBS moved into first overall with 5.46 million viewers for an “NCIS: Los Angeles” repeat, finishing third with a 0.9 key demo rating. ABC's “The Whispers” slipped to 4.355 million viewers and a 1.0 rating among adults 18-49 for second on the hour. NBC's “The Island” won the hour with a 1.2 key demo rating and finished third with 3.75 million viewers.
