“Sean Saves The World” isn’t going anywhere.
NBC has given a Back 5 order to the freshman comedy created by Victor Fresco and starring Sean Hayes, according to Deadline.
The network had recently ordered up four new scripts for the show, but the new order brings the show’s first season to 18 episodes. “World” enjoyed a 28% increase in ratings Friday night, following a new episode of “The Voice.”
Fresco, Hayes and Todd Milliner serves as executive producers for the Universal TV production.
“Sean Saves the world” also stars Megan Hilty, Thomas Lennon, Samantha Isler and Linda Lavin.
