North of Nine is prepping the release of their debut EP “Alive” for tomorrow, and HitFix has the first-listne of that set's “Open Road.”
The Los Angeles-based pop-rock quintet had friends and family sing during the gang vocals on this anthemic track, but that hasn't been their only support: Randy Jackson executive produced the five-song EP.
“I wanted to create an epic song, that will impact our fan's lives. I look at life as an open road, everyone gets to pick their lane and destination,” said group frontman Jackson Guthy. “You get in your car and push through all the good and bad times in life. You just have to choose your lane and get it!”
Guthy has previously performed under his own name as a solo artist, singing on “The Ellen Degeneres Show” and supporting acts like One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer on the road.
