Most actresses will never get the opportunity to work with a single James Bond, much less two. But then Olga Kurylenko – who starred in “Quantum of Solace” opposite Daniel Craig before signing on for the new Pierce Brosnan spy film “The November Man” – isn't most actresses.
“It could have been a second Bond,” said Kurylenko of the new film, in which she plays a woman who falls under the protection of Brosnan's ex-CIA agent. “We just went through tons of action and Pierce is…he's got all those skills. He is that other James Bond…he still is. It was an honor to work with him, really. Because I admire him as an actor. And not only in James Bond, I mean all the other films he's done. He always has so much charm about him and such elegance. Very British.”
So how do the two Bonds compare to each other?
“They're very different, because they're different people,” she told me. “Every one of [the actors who played Bond] brought a different touch to James Bond. …There's always a different perfume about them, a different color. Which is great, because then it keeps those series alive because it's always something else.”
