The next installment in the Predator franchise seems to be heating up, with screenwriter Fred Dekker promising great things from the forthcoming Shane Black-directed sequel/reboot in a Facebook post just last week. Now, the first image for the film has hit the franchise's official Facebook page:
Here we go again, bro.

Note: “Here we go again, bro” reads as an insufferable fratboy-ism on the page but is in fact a line uttered by Bill Duke's Sergeant Mac Eliot in the franchise's first installment starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Meanwhile, I suppose we can officially start referring to the project as The Predator — a title that seems to denote a proper reboot — as opposed to Predator 4, which we've been using up to this point. While the film still has no release date, the Facebook post indicates real forward momentum on a project that fans have been eagerly awaiting for the last five-plus years, as the last installment in the franchise, Nimrod Antal's Predators, hit theaters way back in 2010.
