You haven”t seen the last of your favorite time-displaced samurai. Adult Swim animated series “Samurai Jack” will return in 2016, the network announced today.
So this paints a better picture as to why Genndy Tartakovsky decided not to return for a third “Hotel Transylvania” film. Tartakovsky directed the first two installments in Sony”s spooky animated franchise, but now it looks like his attention will be focused on “Samurai Jack,” which he created. Adult Swim announced that he is indeed working on the new season, currently in production. It will air on the network”s Toonami block.
The Emmy-winning show originally aired from 2001 to 2004.
