The woman-driven “Ghostbusters” reboot has cast comedian and writer Neil Casey (“Veep,” “Broad City”) as its main villain, and by god, he does look a little bit like Janosz (h/t Deadline for originally making the comparison):
What say you? Vote in our super-scientific poll below! (Also, does Casey's more recent beard/mustache combo not have shades of Walter Peck's in the original “Ghostbusters”?)
In case you've forgotten, Janosz (pronounced “Yanosh”) was Dana's deranged boss at the fictional “Manhattan Museum of Art” in “Ghostbusters II” who was possessed by the spirit of Vigo the Carpathian and forced to do his bidding. Played by Peter MacNicol, the character's “Eastern European” accent and flamboyant demeanor made him a memorable character despite the sequel's less-than-stellar reception.
Starring Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Melissa McCarthy and Leslie Jones as the titular spirit hunters, shooting on the Paul Feig-directed reboot is currently underway. It's slated for release on July 22, 2016.
Details on Casey's character are being kept under wraps at this time.
