The Larry Sanders Show will return to HBO and — for the first time — be available on HBO Go and HBO Now, HBO has confirmed.
There's no exact date yet, unfortunately, but I think it's safe to assume that this is on the fast track since Shandling's untimely death. The deal to return Sanders to its premium channel home (it ran from 1992 to 1998) had been in the works for some time, obviously predating Shandling's death.
In the past, The Larry Sanders show was difficult to find on streaming services, popping up occasionally on Amazon, Netflix, and, most recently Crackle, as well as available for purchase on iTunes and Amazon (also, you know, the DVDs).
When it returns to HBO (hopefully very soon!), the people who missed out the first time around and are wondering what all the fuss is about now will get to see it for themselves.
