“Franklin & Bash” is no more.
TNT has decided not to renew the summer legal dramedy starring Breckin Meyer and Mark-Paul Gosselaar for a fifth season.
“Franklin & Bash” was initially a ratings hit when it premiered in 2011, but the show's numbers have been steadily in decline ever since. Its cancellation is one of the first major decisions after former FOX and NBC exec Kevin Reilly was hired by Turner Broadcasting to oversee programming on TNT and TBS.
Gosselaar tweeted the news, which was later confirmed by TNT.
Thanks for a great run, but sorry to inform that F&B is not coming back for a 5th season. @breckinmeyer please lose my number ASAP.
