Fast National ratings for Friday, November 7, 2014.
After a week of Halloween-depressed numbers last Friday, many shows bounced back a little this week, including “Grimm,” “Constantine,” “The Amazing Race” and even “America's Next Top Model.”
All the tiny fluctuations had no impact on the Friday bottom line, which continued to be an easy “Blue Bloods”-led overall win for CBS and an easy “Shark Tank”-led key demo win for ABC.
One thing to watch if you care about such things: The gap between “Last Man Standing” and ABC's new comedy “Cristela” was very small through their first month, but there's beginning to be some air between the two shows.
Oh and FOX's “MasterChef Junior” encore did, indeed, beat last week's new “Utopia.”
On to the numbers…
Among adults 18-49, ABC averaged a 1.6 rating for Friday night, tops in the key demographic. CBS and NBC were tied for second with a 1.2 key demo rating. There was a big gap to FOX's 0.5 key demo rating and the 0.4 key demo rating for The CW.
Overall, though, CBS averaged an estimated 8.81 million viewers and a 5.5 rating/10 share for Friday night, easily beating ABC's 6.84 million viewers and 4.4/8. NBC was third with 5.305 million viewers and a 3.4/6. FOX's 1.66 million viewers and 1.1/2 held off The CW's 0.8/1 and 1.19 million.

FOX's “MasterChef Junior” encore averaged 2.035 million viewers and a 0.6 key demo rating, edging out the 1.31 million viewers and 0.5 key demo rating for a pair of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” episodes (one new, one repeat) on The CW.
