Among the 5,649 stars featured in the upcoming maternity comedy “What To Expect When You’re Expecting” are young’uns Chace Crawford and Anna Kendrick.
HitFix caught up with the pair to ask them what audiences can expect to see in “What to Expect,” the multi-character comedy based on the bestselling pregnancy guide. In the brief interview, the duo also stray pretty far off-topic, in a good way.
Kendrick (“Up in the Air,” “50/50”) and Crawford (“Gossip Girl”) discuss their views on pregnancy as non-parents, their characters’ serious storyline and, of course, the future of “Gossip Girl” (Spoiler alert: Kendrick is sort of a fan). Likewise, Kendrick answers some final questions about “The Twilight Saga” — she’s not in the fourth and final film.
“What To Expect When You’re Expecting” also stars (deep breath): Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Dennis Quaid, Chris Rock, Elizabeth Banks, Matthew Morrison, Rebel Wilson, Brooklyn Decker, Rodrigo Santoro, Thomas Lennon and more. It was directed by Kirk Jones (“Waking Ned Devine”).
The film opens nationwide May 18.
