David Hasselhoff, who we recently learned will be starring in Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No as Ian Ziering’s dad, has made some pretty serious claims about the latest chapter of everybody’s favorite TV movie franchise about tornadoes with sharks flying in them.
He tells HuffPost Live via E! Online:
“You know, it’s the worst movie you have ever seen,” the Baywatch star said with utmost glee on. “The first one was the worst. The second one I think was even worse than the first. I’m so honored to be in Sharknado 3.”
Hasselhoff also revealed whether or not his character will live to see Sharknado 4. SPOILER ALERT, Hasselhoff!
“I’ll tell you, I had so much fun making the movie,” Hasselhoff laughed, having so much fun just talking about making the movie. “The people who make the movie have such a great sense of humor. They are the nicest people. Everybody’s in on the joke, and it is so much fun. I’m telling you this thing is gonna go on forever. And the last shot of me is me on top of the moon [saluting]. I said [to the director], ‘Are you gonna kill me?’ And they said, ‘No, you’ll be in ‘Sharknado 4.'”
I guess that’s also your confirmation that Sharknado 4 is indeed happening. As if there was any doubt. As long as people care about Skarknadoes, Syfy will keep making them. At the rate we’re going, Tara Reid’s granddaughter will probably star in Sharknado 58.
