Wednesday’s third and final debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump was notable for — among other things — the latter suggesting he might reject the results of next month’s election. During a Thursday campaign event in Nashua, New Hampshire, Vice President Joe Biden couldn’t help but poke some fun at the Republican presidential nominee.
“He plays into the hands of our enemies so uniquely,” Biden said. “He is so stupid that he doesn’t understand — it’s possible he doesn’t understand the damage he’s doing.”
The former senator from Delaware has not been one to mince words when it comes to the Donald. IN the past few months alone, Biden has called Trump “totally, thoroughly unqualified” to be president; he’s decried the real estate mogul as “a guy who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth that now he’s choking on”; he’s sharply criticized Trump’s dismissive comments about soldiers with PTSD; he’s also called “absolutely outrageous” Trump’s alleged sexual improprieties toward women.
Late last summer, the Vice President was reported to be weighing a presidential run of his own. However, he decided against it, citing his desire to spend time with his family following the death of his son, Beau, Delaware’s Attorney General, who died of brain cancer in May.
