You might be familiar with Skip Bayless. He’s the ESPN personality on First Take that some regard as the network’s biggest troll, a man that takes hardline stances on the most ridiculous of subjects. Despite his obvious attempts to anger viewers, he continues to be the face of ESPN’s popular platform, “embrace debate.”
Now, on to the juicy stuff.
There are a lot of people at the network who dislike Skip and don’t enjoy what he brings to the table. In the past we’ve heard from guys like Bill Simmons, who said there were no winners and lots of losers in the Richard Sherman-Skip Bayless debacle of 2013.
But what bothers me about the reaction to that segment is people saying Richard Sherman "won." Nobody won. Everyone lost. Including ESPN.

Now on the heels of some unfortunate comments about Johnny Manziel, and his recent remarks about Andrew Luck, NFL analyst Mark Schlereth finally weighed in publicly.
@franklin_les cuz no one pays attention to that nonsense

You get the sense that Schlereth isn’t alone here and that there are others (in the company) who want nothing more than to blast Bayless publicly. Alas, for now, he’s the lone wolf.
