Last month, a commercial featuring Martin Scorsese and his favorite actors made the rounds online. Now it seems the famous Oscar-winning director has another big commercial, and it’s going to debut during tonight’s Oscars telecast. According to Deadline:
The commercial, which features excerpts from Martin Scorsese’s commencement speech to the NYU Tisch School of the Arts Class of 2014, chronicles the efforts of students from the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts who were given iPad to write, produce, shoot, score, and edit their films in a matter of days.
Scorsese himself never appears onscreen during the 60-second spot, but his words are made all the more relevant when contextualized with footage produced by the high school students and Apple.
