Everybody knows that Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon share a bond that you don’t see everyday among famous folks. Not even Ben Affleck and Matt Damon do some of the crazy things that Timberlake and Fallon seem to do, so it’s not really much of a surprise that they’d just stand in a room and exchange deep, soulful, tender looks with each other. Just like bros are known to do, of course.
This clip from The Tonight Show shows them in action, and that’s not even the oddest part. That role belongs to Will Ferrell lurking outside the door, peering through at two bros showing their appreciation for each other. If he wants to join in, he should just ask like a normal person. Instead he chooses to watch from afar, most likely thinking about his own best friend from Hollywood. I’m not sure who that is, but maybe John C. Reilly? They might actually hate each other, so I don’t really want to toss that kind of weight on their relationship.
Seriously, though, I’m not sure what to make of this sketch. I assume that it’s either a lesser version of SNL‘s “Dear Sister” sketch or this is considered comedy. I’m prepared to go with the former, just so I can share it here for the sake of comparison:
