We know that there’s no wrong way to eat a Reese’s, but according to New Jersey governor and Trump supporter Chris Christie, that applies to eating M&Ms as well.
While on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Friday night, Christie was getting red in the face defending his candy eating habits again. On March, 25 while attending an NCAA Sweet Sixteen game in Philadelphia, the New Jersey Gov. and former GOP presidential candidate was seen by UPROXX’s own Pete Blackburn pouring a bag of M&Ms into a box of M&Ms.
On Wednesday, Christie appeared on the Boomer & Carton Show to explain that inside of a box of M&Ms there’s a bag of M&Ms and he prefers to pour the candy-coated treats inside of the box instead of eating out of the bag like 99.9% of the population who consumes M&Ms.
Continuing his M&M Eating Tour 2016, Christie told Fallon that the reason why he pours the bag of M&Ms into the box is because the bag is “flimsy” and he’s an “enthusiastic fan” and that the box provides better stability while eating M&Ms at a game. Fallon asked Christie the question we were all thinking, “Enthusiastic fan of what? M&Ms?”
Instead of choosing between eating his candy from a bag or box, Fallon gave Christie a personalized gold candy dish. Stating, “Donald Trump doesn’t even have this at games.”
