Olivia Wilde comes from a family of high-profile journalists, which must have made for an incredibly interesting childhood. On The Late Late Show with James Corden Thursday night, Wilde recalled one of the more captivating moments from her youth, when she was just 10 years old, at an afterparty for Saturday Night Live.
A self-proclaimed “fat kid,” Wilde says she was milling around the dessert table feeling self-conscious with a brownie, when none other than Chris Farley came along and took the time out of his party to brighten up the night of a little girl — in the most Chris Farley way ever, of course. It’s a sweet story that reminds us that aside from being a comic great, the man was a beautiful soul, as well.
