Whether you’re with friends or family, camping can be a fun activity for people of all ages. There’s just something about sitting in the woods in the dark and roasting marshmallows over an open flame. Unless you prefer deserts, Death Valley, and the occasional low-flying fighter jet.
The three of us went camping in a remote area of Death Valley National Park. We thought we were in total isolation until this F-18 fighter jet proved otherwise. The jet is estimated to be flying at around 500 ft. between speeds of 400-500 mph. (Via)
Honestly, having your commune with nature disturbed by a jet engine breaking the sound barrier isn’t too bad. It could be a lot worse. For example, if a graboid from Tremors stopped by, these fellas would welcome the fighter jet with open arms.
