When I think of great modern day philosophers, some names immediately come to mind. Jaden Smith. Karl Pilkington. Jack Handey. Now I can add another name to that list, this girl Mariah’s 12-year-old sister, who got pretty deep while peeling potatoes, and then felt so inspired by her own words that she felt the need to share them with her Snapchat followers.
In the first image, Mariah’s sister writes, “People are like potatoes, the color of the skin or having marks doesn’t matter,” followed by an image of peeled potatoes that follows up, “Because they’re all the same once the skin is removed.” OH SNAP, YOU GUYS. MARIAH’S SISTER JUST WENT THERE. (But what about if the potato is rotten? Just like some people are rotten? Did I just take this a whole step further?)
At any rate, after having asked for help peeling potatoes and then finding it on Snapchat later, Mariah tweeted her sister’s wise words, where she has since gotten over 25,000 retweets and 20,000 favorites over the past few days. Suffice to say, people were quite taken with the deep potato thoughts, as you can tell by some of the reactions.
@NYSportsBiz Now that's a good working brain & soul. Not too many young ones thinking on that level. Let alone any age these days

One guy even printed it out and hung it on his wall:

But don’t worry, lest you think the internet is making fun of a defenseless 12-year-old girl, Mariah’s sister is totally in on the joke.
