In a classic example of corporate product synergy that would make Jack Donaghy blush, Stand Up to Cancer has launched a new line of Star Wars-themed gear to help raise money toward the non-profit’s ultimate goal – curing cancer. SU2C has also been notably synonymous with celebrities, as evidenced by the recent MasterCard campaign with Ray Romano, and the dozens of videos that the organization features on its site, starring some of the biggest A-listers in Hollywood.
As for the Star Wars campaign – which comes to us just in time for the release of the entire film series on Blu-Ray – a few of our favorite actors have stepped up to share their fondness for George Lucas’ classic space saga. “Saturday Night Live” cast member Bill Hader, “Community” and Hangover star Ken Jeong, and Emma Stone (above as Princess Leia *swoon*), star of the blockbuster hit, The Help, are starring in a series of photos for the new campaign, as featured by Entertainment Weekly earlier today.
Check out Hader, Stone and Jeong, and their embrace of the Dark Side, after the jump.
