Back in September, Warner was rumored to be offering a lead role in Batman vs Superman to a physically strong woman between 25 and 33 years old, and some of the actors’ agents thought the role might be Wonder Woman. Now an unexpected update comes from an actor in a Marvel franchise. At ComiKaze in LA, Jaimie Alexander (Sif in Thor) reportedly told the crowd she’s had conversations with Warner and DC and she knew some of the plot of Batman Versus Superman.
It’s not likely that someone would know much about the plot unless they were being considered for a lead. This has led to rumors about Alexander playing Wonder Woman. The guy who broke the story on Twitter, Mark Hughes, later interviewed Jaimie Alexander for Forbes. You can read it if you want, but the short version is that she neither confirmed nor denied any rumors about Wonder Woman or Batman Versus Superman. She did, however, tweet something that will add more fuel to the rumors.
The only part of this story that we’ll regard as definitive is this: Alexander also said Thor 3 is happening. Considering Thor: The Dark World has already made over $100 million overseas this weekend, we’re willing to believe a third movie’s coming. Another!
