If you’ve watched any of this season of HBO’s Eastbound and Down, you know that Kenny Powers, easily one of our favorite characters on television, has been absolutely dominating — it’s by far the best season of the show’s life so far, in my opinion anyway. The episode that aired last Sunday, the funeral episode, was probably the funniest, most cringe-worthy episode of television I’ve seen in a long time. And the Russian pitcher character that’s been introduced this season is an under-appreciated work of comedic genius in every way.
But lest you forget, Kenny Powers doesn’t just exist in the world to put an exclamation point on your weekends each Sunday night. No, dude is also the Motherfu*ckin’ Chief Executive Office (MFCEO) of K-Swiss, a vital cog in the American commerce machine, a role that he does not take lightly.
With that said, here’s Kenny Powers doing his best Steve Jobs imitation — black turtleneck and all — to introduce K-Swiss’ latest shoe, Blades, in front of a packed auditorium. It’s five minutes of absolute hilarity that includes a conversation with Bruce Lee, green girls on the moon, and a blood-drenched scene in which animated children get mutilated. What more could you possibly ask for?
