A 34-year-old Ohio man was apprehended after a dramatic low-speed chase by police. Why was it low-speed? Because the man in question, Graham Ley, was in a motorized wheelchair. Smoking a cigarette. In a most leisurely fashion, Ley rolled ahead of a police car that, for some reason, remained behind him the entire time until they finally decided to call it a day and speed up to 15 mph to advance ahead of Ley.
Apparently, residents had been complaining about Ley wheeling through busy traffic like he owned the place, so the police were called and I guess they needed a good 20 minutes to see what, exactly, the deal was.
Ley was ultimately arrested for “Resisting Arrest, Obstructing Official Business, Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Damage and Failure to Comply.” What he should have been arrested for: being too cool for the g*ddamn law
I’ll give you guys a moment to catch your breath.
