McDonald’s knows it’s America’s least favorite fast food joint, but it’s hoping that a trimmed-down menu will help improve its image and get more customers in the door.
“Our intent is to have a cleaner menu board that is easier for customers to absorb,” spokeswoman Lisa McComb told The Huffington Post recently. (A little less hardcore porn on the menu board might help, too, #justsaying.)
So, what’s up on the chopping block? McDonald’s is planning to make the following changes:
– one Quarter Pounder with cheese vs. four
– one Premium Chicken sandwich vs. three
– one Snack Wrap vs. three
– Extra Value meals will be reduced from 16 to 11 offerings
None of the breakfast options have been altered, much to the delight of these violent Philadelphia customers.
The company’s testing out the updated menus in Delaware, Little Rock, Waco, Knoxville, Macon, and Bakersfield, but gave no exact timeline as to when the changes will take effect nationwide. Basically, if you enjoy munching on any/all of the above, go and eat ’em while you can.Yes, you have my permission to pig out and clog your arteries.
