As we’ve pointed out in the past, the people who run Taco Bell’s social media accounts are pretty awesome at their jobs, from giving out customized Speedos to simply interacting with people on Twitter. But when they announced that the Beefy Crunch Burrito would be coming back for a limited time only, beginning last Thursday, a gentleman named Justin swore to Taco Bell that he would get a tattoo of the special item that features Fritos as a unique ingredient.
Whether or not the whole thing was a ploy remains the knowledge of Taco Bell’s PR department, Justin and his tattoo artist of choice, but it appears that Justin remained true to his word, because Taco Bell released a video of the ink being permanently applied. I assume that Justin earned a few free Beefy Crunch Burritos for his troubles, you know, since Taco Bell made a video with him and all, but maybe he just did it because he truly loves the burritos that much.
I’ve made no secret of my love for Taco Bell in the past, and while I’m not much of a fan of the tattoos and the needles scraping my skin, I’d still be willing to do something pretty stupid for a lifetime supply of Volcano Tacos. I don’t know what that is, but when I come up with it, you can bet that my family will be ashamed.
