It should come as no surprise to anyone that Gearbox is currently working on additional content for its latest hit title, Borderlands 2. Given that the so-called DLC Season Pass is a promise to provide four additional DLCs to the game, not inclusive of the Mechromancer character, it’s to be expected.
Today, the studio released a new patch for Borderlands 2 which added a number of bug fixes to the core game, including a fix to restore lost Badass Ranks. The patch was also released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms, the latter of which included a host of new trophies for the game. You can read about the rest of the fixes here.
According to posters on the Gearbox Software forums, three new trophies were added for the PS3 version of the game that mention hunting side missions (“Been there”, Silver trophy), discovering named locations (“Done that”, Gold trophy), and completing a mission called “The Fall of Nakayama” (Face fff, Bronze trophy).
One of the posters took a photograph of his TV with a picture of the DLC icon, which reads “Big Game Hunt”. Unless the illegible words above it read “Cabela’s”, I’m calling this leak legit.
