No stranger to speaking his mind — especially since adopting Twitter — Stephen King became the latest artist to express harsh words for Indiana’s “Religious Freedom Restoration Act,” joining the likes of Wilco, Michael Stipe, and former Pawnee denizen Nick Offerman.
The prolific best-selling author kept it short and (not so) sweet:
Indiana's Religious Freedom Restoration act is gay discrimination, pure and simple. You can frost a dog turd, but it's still a dog turd.

Poop-themed analogy, or thinly-veiled April Fools’ Day warning? Just to be safe, stay clear of any pastries at the King household for the next 24 hours.
