Usually at this point in the year we’re all hip-deep in Mad Men, counting down the seconds on Sunday night to see if Don Draper will fingerbang the attractive stranger he made eye contact with on the train in the previous episode. Over the last few years Mad Men has single-handedly made summer, the suckiest time of the year for quality television, not only less sucky, but pretty great. But thanks to a power struggle between creator Matt Weiner and AMC, production was pushed back and now we all have to suffer by waiting until 2012 before we get any new episodes of Mad Men again. Life is hard sometimes.
To make us long for the show even more, the Cape Town, South Africa design firm Radio has created a couple of cool, unofficial posters for its upcoming season five to remind us of what we’re missing right now. And to think that my excitement for the start of football season had actually made me forget about it. So much for that. Anyway, bigger versions of both are below after the jump.
