In case you were wondering, Wikipedia, Reddit and Boing Boing all followed through with their promise to go dark in protest of the, as Charles Barkley would say, TURRIBLE Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA). And as anyone could have predicted, the misinformed are freaking the f*ck out, proving that the protests are a worthwhile effort considering how many people still don’t appear to know much about SOPA.
