While most people with a good grasp of common sense slept in this morning and actually enjoyed their extra vacation day, millions of people throughout America instead flocked to their local department stores, shopping malls and outlet retailers at the wee hours of the morning for the timeless tradition of “Black Friday.” In case you’re unfamiliar, Black Friday is the biggest shopping day of the year, when major retailers unleash their biggest deals to kick start the holiday season. And as we already pointed out… it brings out the absolute worst in people.
If you were smart enough to stay home and enjoy Black Friday deals from the comfort of your computer, then you’ll undoubtedly catch this year’s highlights on the neverending news reports of violence and mayhem. If you were brave — or stupid — enough to hit your local stores for the chance at a $100 tablet or whatever Betsy Wetsy your kid wants this year, then you probably have some YouTube posts to work on.
