While Emma Stone rhapsodized about Woody Allen at the Golden Globes, conveniently leaving off The Curse of Jade Scorpion and Scoop, obviously the man’s two finest films, the most neurotic of Jews was watching old Knicks games from the 1970s, probably. One person who wasn’t sharing in the Woody love, though, was his estranged son, Ronan, who isn’t afraid to share his feelings for his pops. But he saved his most furious tweet for tonight.
“Ah jeez, well, I haven’t felt this burned since I went to summer concentration camp as a kid.”
In case you were wondering, the “woman” Farrow is referencing in his tweet is his sister Dylan, who last year spoke out for the first time about an incident in which she claims Allen molested her in the attic of the family home.
“There’s a lot I don’t remember, but what happened in the attic I remember. I remember what I was wearing and what I wasn’t wearing,” she told Vanity Fair. “The things making me uncomfortable were making me think I was a bad kid, because I didn’t want to do what my elder told me to do… I was cracking. I had to say something. I was 7. I was doing it because I was scared. I wanted it to stop.”
Ugh.
