Much to the delight of overworked office interns and hermits everywhere, Dunkin’ Donuts has apparently been privately testing delivery services, expected to roll out in 2016. After a disappointing year, this could be exactly the thing needed to reinvigorate the brand.
According to Dunkin’ Brands Chairman and CEO Nigel Travis:
“Delivery is clearly a big opportunity…We’re now developing mobile ordering. We’re doing a private test. We’ll move to a more public test later this year…We’ll probably launch mobile ordering some time next year.”
So there you have it. In a matter of months, you may be able to get your crullers and Munchkins without even having to put on pants. The future truly is now.
