KFC keeps testing the upper limits on fast food concoctions that can still be considered food, while not quite crossing over to the “nuclear waste” category. Their international properties seem to have the most fun with this concept. South Korean KFC customers now enjoy the Zinger Double Down King, while the Philippines favors the Double Down Dog. Across the pond, the Brits settle for the less impressive (but still creative) edible coffee cups.
The newest KFC food hybrid goes for the jugular and promises to clog it, too. The Napoli Crispy Pizza Chicken sounds like a fancy selection for the chain, but it’s essentially chicken wings topped with pizza. The whole mess is fried up and then baked to melt. Don’t expect too much in the pizza or chicken department, for main listed ingredients are cheddar and mozzarella. This monstrosity is essentially the fast-food version of chicken parmigiana.
