Christian video blogger Sam Rader has been under fire recently for maybe faking a pregnancy and miscarriage for a viral video, and for having an Ashley Madison account. Now, he’s been kicked out of a video blogging conference for making violent threats against one or more of the other attendees.
Gawker spoke to Rader about the incident at Vlogger Fair, during which the vlogger admitted to threatening one person, claiming that multiple vloggers were ridiculing how Rader and his wife Nia were speaking out publicly about Nia’s miscarriage:
Sam told me that problems at the conference began on Friday, when he approached one of the vloggers and “told him he had hurt our family and that was that.” On Saturday, Sam said that this vlogger “got in my face” and “put his chest up against mine” and that there was a verbal altercation from there. Sam admits that after this incident, the organizers kicked him out of the conference. He said he does not know if the other vlogger was asked to leave.
Rader then went back on his admission that he had threatened one person, saying to Gawker, “That’s absolutely not true. If I made a threat, it was to the one person, and it was, ‘You need to watch out before he messes with my family.’”
Looks like after making a name for himself with the surprise pregnancy video, Rader is already heading for a fall, what with accusations that he’s faked he and his wife’s pregnancy and miscarriage videos, the Ashley Madison admission, and now this. Another vlogger has said as much:
